"The sky is the limit" - Natural sculpture on original painting

This piece is unique and one of its kind. Let me tell you why!

INSPIRATION:
It is naturally sourced from the depths between Sweden and Norway's ocean, carefully selected by hand to ensure the most iconic piece for this idea I have had for so long. (See Image 4)

"The sky is the limit" is a concept that even if you are born in the deepest ocean, you can still become a butterfly soaring the skies.

The background is painted with acrylic and sealed with a shiny glaze.
The same glaze is used on the two kinds of sea shells to give a wet impression.
No additional paint has been used on the shells as their natural color are what is fascinating. (Did you know that some blue paint is made by mussel shells?)

This piece says more than words as it is a symbol of hope, encouragement, and dreams that can come true. For me, it is a collaboration of two different worlds, perhaps a bit inspired by how I met my Lindsay.
