INSPIRATION:
Birds are essential to spring. They just add happiness to anything.
We have a lot of colorful birds in our gardens: robins, cardinals, and bluebirds.
However, when I see this sparrow that blesses us with visits, I forget that he doesn't carry many colors, but his personality does.
He is a wonderful reminder that there are just so many flashy and colorful things that you can show that only go one feather deep. I recognize other birds by their colors, but this fellow by his personality.
This painting is infused with the happy songs of the sparrows. At least, that is what I hear when looking at this piece.
