This painting is inspired by my Scandinavian Christmas roots and Santa's many helpers during the holidays.
This is the Christmas Goat, a very traditional helper, as it used to carry the gifts for Santa. In Europe, he comes with many names: "the Yule Goat", or sometimes the more terrifying "Krampus". But I have always loved the Swedish version, a kind goat, with bells, and lots of Christmas gifts stacked up on its back.
This piece has a measurement of approximately 4 inches.
